The story of RR-R began in 2001, when Rorschach Records was set up to release the debut of Swedish jazz group Nyfors. After four releases, the label was transformed to release cd-r only, and soon changed the name to RR-R. Since Rorschach’s records sold in quantities of a maximum of 300 copies, it seemed more adequate to produce more releases with lower budget (and in far smaller editions), instead of a few expensive ones. It’s only the covers that are cheap, though; the sounding quality is the same. And who can value the price of a hand-made cover?
